A Music 2009 newcomer Aarif Lee is a singer-songwriter to look out for. With looks that rivals those of models, solid singing skills, and a knack for songwriting and music production, this all-round artist began his career playing Simon Yam and Sandra Ng's son in the Alex Law-Mabel Cheung film Echoes of the Rainbow. He was then commissioned to write all the lyrics for Janice M. Vidal's English-language album Morning. Now he has come up with his debut album Starting Today, which sees him take on all vocal, composition, arrangement, and production duties. Besides the first plug Fly Away, the album also includes the Lin Xi-penned "He Who Walks Alone", title track "Starting Today", and two Echoes of the Rainbow theme songs.
